Road Trip
With the weather getting warmer, we took a day trip south to Oxford, MS. After breakfast, we hit the playground off the town square.
Frankie has started walking, but has not completely given up crawling when he needs to get someplace really fast.
On our way back to Memphis, we stopped in Holly Springs, MS for cheeseburgers, grilled cheeses, and fried pie at Phillips Grocery.
Phillips Grocery has been known for their world-class cheeseburgers for a looooong time.
They didn't disappoint.
Nothing beats a peach fried pie.

Another Snow Day!
Mother Nature dumped 6(8?) inches on us this weekend - by far the biggest snow we've had in our 10 years down south. Phoebe teetering on the base of her snowman!
Superdad found this sled on the street after the last snow. After this wipe-out, he wishes he hadn't.
It's a small hill, but you pick up speed fast.
Three man luge!
Long time readers might recognize the kid with the umbrella from the the first snowball fight we had after moving in to this house. Well, three years later this neighborhood hooligan is still up to the same old shenangens. This year, T-Bone and Superdad had been battling 5 other rascals for some time when the umbrella kid snuck up from behind to get a piece of the action. The umbrella was effective at first, but was eventually bested by a barrage of well-packed snowballs. No joking - this kid has been waiting for this moment for years - he's got something to say to Superdad every time they bump into each other on the block. It could be a sweltering July day and he'll say something like "Feels like snow, old man." Ha!
