Apparently didn't take many pictures of Frank this season, but they finished undefeated. Great season.

Frank's Squash

The boy had to have this squash. He would not stop going on about it, so we broke down and got it.  Everyone had something to say to him as he walked around the farmer's market with it.

It barely fit in the car.

The kids are old enough that you can just turn them lose and check back on them a few hours later and find a wigwam, bow and arrow, and homemade hammock.

Cooper Young 4 Miler

The kids wanted to run the annual race through our old neighborhood. About 3,000 runners do it on a Friday night in September every year. Frank hasn't run since his first 5k earlier this year, but still said he was going to finish in less than 30 minutes.  Before the race:

Here comes Frank, first in his age group and 49th overall at 28:17.

Phoebe a few minutes later - 4th in her age group.  Just missed a medal by a few seconds!  Mom finished pretty strong too a little later.

He was excited that the medal is a bottle opener.
