Frankie Turns 5

Frank and his #5 pancake and clip-on tie that Phoebe gave him for his b-day.

Official measurements.

He was happy to learn that he's a hair taller than his sister when she was 5.

Opening presents.  Sword:

Truck, tractor and trailer.

Then on Saturday, Frank had a big party with all kinds of little buddies.  He's really into hay rides, so that's what we wanted.  We were able to get some guys with two mules to do it and they were GREAT!  They really gave Frank the full birthday boy treatment.

They taught Phoebe how to do it and she drove the mules around the block under their supervision.

After about 5 rides around the neighborhood, we were finally able to get Frankie off the mule ride and make a s'more in the driveway.

Birthday s'more!

He did not want to stop riding or for the mules to leave.  He had such a great time, even though he woke up that night in a very sad state to tell us how much he missed those mules.
