Spring Weekend

Phoebe lasted about 30 seconds in the cold river, but she was excited to take the first swim.

Fishing.

Between the four of us, we probably caught and released about 50 pretty bluegill.

Some of their pals just got a slack line.

March Madness

We did our first annual family bracket pool this year. No buy in - the winner gets to pick a place to go out to for dinner. The Lady of the House's bracket won, but Frankie felt like the big winner.  When he went out on a limb and picked the UConn Huskies to win it all, his dad said that he'd frame Frank's bracket if that actually happened.  So the boy learned two important lessons - go with your gut and don't welsh on a bet.

Football

The kids have been wanting to play football.  Dad plays all-time QB while they take turns on offense and defense.  Sometimes they will draw up a play, but when they do it involves so many different routes and tricks that dad usually has to call the plays.

Back to the Cabin

We opened the cabin back up in March as usual.  Checking on the dock:

Telescoping stuff.

Battleship.

Puzzles.

Monopoly.

Foggy mornings.

Views.

Weenie roasts.

Birthday dinner.
