After the drive from Memphis, it was time to let the kids stretch their legs at Papoose Park.

Outlaw biker.

This little waterfall connected two lakes.

This is the old dam on the Spring River.

We rented little cabin with a view of a lake in what is essentially a retirement community.

Phoebe hanging off the deck.

Throwing rocks into the lake never gets old.

For ten cents they'll sell you a cup of food to feed the fish.

Some of these catfish were as big as Frankie.

The highlight of the trip was this little area called Wahpeton Hill overlooking the river. All the amazing little cabins that were built by Memphians in the 1930's still look great. It's no wonder that families rarely ever get rid of them, and they are passed down from generation to generation.

Flower picking.

In the field.

Getting after it.

Down the path to the river.

On the dock. This river is amazing for swimming during the summer.

Strolling on the canoe dock - all the canoes have been taken out of the river until summer starts.

Phoebe's favorite.

Walking back from the river.

Just a bit up river is this little swimming hole and waterfalls.

Wishing it was warm enough to take a dip.
