Shore Vacation, Part 1

We went north to Jersey again this summer for vacation.  We had not been since our great 2008 trip to Ocean City.  This year, we stayed in Stone Harbor.  We got a 6 bedroom house on 119 Street with a bunch of old friends from NY and their kids.  We had 18 people in the rental, but it was pretty comfortable.

Having a pool out back didn't hurt.

But the best part was being a short walk to the beach.  We had a really nice beach.  Being the narrow southern tip of the island, it was not crowded at all.

It dawned on us this year that Phoebe has been to the beach every summer since she was born.

Frankie too has never missed a summer.

It was uncharacteristically hot while we were there which was OK because the water was ridiculously cold.
