There is a mural painted on a fence on Main Street celebrating the favorite sons and daughters of the town - like the Wilburn Brothers and former big league hurler, Preacher Roe.
We stopped into the Corner Booth for a hearty breakfast.
After another day of swimming and relaxing, we hit Mammoth Springs state park and were lucky to snag the best grill and picnic table in the whole park. It's tough to beat grilling when you can feel the mist of a waterfall.
The kids explored while the dinner was being cooked.
The feast: skirt steak, grilled potatoes, and marinated tomatos.
Now that's a clean plate. Who needs Michelin's four stars when you got Phoebe's one thumb!
