Another year, another Thanksgiving, another pie. Phoebe decided she wanted to make a chocolate chess pie this year because she really doesn't like the pumpkin pies she typically makes. But she's a good sport and still made a pumpkin pie for the rest of us.
Thirteen pounds of beautifully stuffed turkey about to be carved.
Phoebe couldn't wait anymore and was the first at the table.
The full spread: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, radishes and celery, and corn for Phoebe.
Everything was delicious. Of course, everything tastes even better on Thanksgiving when Dallas loses! Rooting against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving is as much a Team Plumley tradition as eating turkey. It is hard to imagine this holiday without doing both with great enthusiasm and pleasure.
Diggin' in.
The wishbone had dried out by the next morning and Phoebe and Frankie were ready.
Frankie raises his piece of bone in victory. This might be the most serious we've ever seen the boy.
On closer inspection, that crazy wishbone split right down the middle! A draw was declared. Does this mean that both wishes will come true? Phoebe and Frankie won't disclose their wishes, so we may never know.
