Super Dad's Day

For Father's Day, Super Dad wanted to go to the cabin.  So we went.  It was a glorious day.

Breakfast at the Corner Booth.  Super Dad ordered the special occasion country fried steak breakfast with 2 eggs, hash browns, and toast.  I sampled, and it was mighty tasty.

Frankie got the big pancake and spread strawberry jam all over it.  Yum!

Special gifts were given - all of them cabin related.  A Stanley flask, good work gloves and Campsuds.   The best, however, was a special book "The Cabin" written and illustrated by our very own Phoebe.

The whole book is about adventures that Phoebe and Frankie go on with Super Dad at the cabin.  Curiously, The Lady of the House is nowhere to be seen....

Another special gift was a Pancakes Pancakes print made by the kids under my watchful eye in honor of the tasty pancakes Super Dad whips up for us every Sunday. 

The rest of the day was spent at the dock jumping in the river and canoeing around. 

Super Dad made himself a special dinner of T-bone steak.  It was so big, we had leftovers the next day.
