One of Superdad's partners hosted a fishing rodeo at his house. He has a pond in his backyard full of bass and panfish. We really only wanted to catch some little panfish, so we just fixed the kids up with their own little cane poles.
Phoebe and Frankie found a nice little honey hole in the shade and were pulling out brim just about every time they put their hook in the water. This was the first time they ever caught fish on their own.
One of the older guys hooked a nice bass and handed the rod to Phoebe who then reeled it in all by herself. She likes the cute little fish she caught on her own, but was a little wary of this beast.
Wary or not, she was curious enough to look inside of it to see what was going on down there.
