Back to the Cabin

We opened up the cabin over the last weekend of Spring Break.  Catching up with AR neighbors:

No one was happier to be out of the city than ol' Tug.

Great weather, but not as nice as last March when it was warm enough to jump in the river for a few seconds.

Frank picked up some suspenders at a junk store earlier that day.  He'd been wanting them ever since seeing an old man wearing some a few weeks earlier.

Superdad celebrated his birthday with dinner at the Copper Feather.  Shirley Temples!

The kids put in two requests with the organ player - Happy Birthday and Davy Crockett.  He played both - what a great birthday treat.

The traditional 7-Up cake!

Frankie drew this great boxing birthday card.

Dad also got the knot-tying kit he'd asked for.  Phoebe quickly mastered the square knot and bowline.
