Birthday Parade

We were invited to help our good friend Jeannie celebrate her 50th bday with a street parade.  This was a real parade too - a city permit, police escort, and candy to toss to the onlookers.

Some dance routines were performed along the parade route by a few.

I just noticed that the sign in the background says "Glitter & Glamour."

The bday girl!  Not a bad way to turn 50.
