More Vacation

Phoebe has gotten really into fishing, even asking that Superdad come and wake her up before sunrise so that she can go.

She baits the hook, catches the fish, and takes it off the hook all by herself.

This is her fishing nemesis, Sneaky Pete.  This big and ornery turtle is always trying to take the bait of Phoebe's hook even though she pleads with him not to.

Another lovely bluegill!  This really is the perfect fish for kids: aggressive enough that they are easy to catch, but small and cute enough that a little kid isn't scared to deal with them.

Superdad will get in on the action with the fly rod, but for quantity Phoebe's method is the way to go - bobber and hook with a bit of hot dog.

Now that's patience.
