Uncle Boog took us to the Cabrillo National Monument and Old Point Loma Lighthouse. Overlooking Coronado:
Juan Cabrillo - Portuguese explorer.
We all agreed that we could live in this light house.
Light house vegetable garden.
Down to the tide pools.
Cave.
Ocean.
Tide pool.
Doing things!
After lunch we met up with Aunt Kelly at Belmont Park in Mission Beach. Captain and first mate!
Phoebe packed her new high heels that give her an extra two inches because she was NOT going to be denied a ride on the Giant Dipper.
Just made it!
Uncle Boog and Phoebe strapped in.
Phoebe did great on her first roller coaster rides. She wasn't quite ready to keep her hands up the whole ride, but she loved it. She rode twice and got the front car both times. Beginners luck!
Cotton candy.
After all of that we cruised on over to the old BALI HAI for Shirley Temples and Mai Tais. Needless to say, the kids wanted to ride in the convertible every chance they got.
