After the museum we bounced over to Sidecar for a fantastic lunch. The kids have been super excited to eat at Bart's restaurant since he visited us in Memphis this spring. Phoebe and Bart size up a dozen oysters.
Bart guides Phoebe through her first oyster.
She loved it, ate a bunch more, and kept the oyster shell for her New York souvenier. Who needs FAO Schwarz?!
It kept on raining so the kids went home for their first naps of the trip while dad and Bart hit some record stores. Then we all met up later for an amazing dinner at Buttermilk Channel with Yu and Mooney, who then came back to the apartment to read to the kids before bed:
