Vacation - Day 8

Last day! Fitting that we woke up to more rain on the last day of our trip. Waiting for the wet stuff to pass with some chocolate croissants:

The one thing Frank really wanted to do that we hadn't managed to fit in was to ride a bus.  Waiting for the B69 on 7th Avenue:

We got off the bus at the Brooklyn Library.

Then we went back to Park Slope and let loose on the playground.

After everything, we packed up and waited on Chris and Mary's stoop for Bart to take us to the airport.  A nice old guy walked by when we were taking this picture and asked if we were new to the neighborhood.  I explained we were just visiting and he asked where we were from.  When i told him Memphis, he said, "Ah, the real America."  Ha!  Great trip.
