We met Danny Baseball, Sam and Otis to ride the Staten Island Ferry in the morning.
Raising the torch.
Verrazano Narrows Bridge.
After the ferry, we went the the East Village to grab lunch at an old favorite spot. On our way there we noticed that we were in front of the Gem Spa news stand on 2nd and St. Marks and had to do our version of the back cover of the first New York Dolls record.
Veselka! Boy do we miss it.
Then we kept heading uptown - all the way to the Museum of Natural History.
A real dinosaur bone.
Triceratops.
Birch bark canoe!
The Statue of Liberty made an impression on Frankie.
Outside of the museum.
More Statue of Liberty poses.
Central Park.
We had to hi-tail it back to Brooklyn for our big last night in town dinner. Frank was wiped out from his big day.
Uncle Bart outside the great restaurant he and his brother own.
Fascinated by the basement.
Frankie went with his go-to move and ordered a round of Shirley Temples for the kids.
